vandam – a psychedelic DJ project of Michi Walser

His first contact with psychedelic music was in 2011 with the band Infected Mushrooms and a few local outdoor partys in Switzerland.

From then, he went to many partys and festivals in Switzerland and all over Europe, to see his favorite artists and have many magic moments and a lot inspiration.

These trips made him curious and he started to learn the artistry of djing. So in 2016 he started with playing progressive trance.

At this time he was a lot on the road with some friends of the Vive Noctem Crew and at the end of the Year he got the chance to play at their label party.

That was the first time he djayd in public, and so vandam was born.

Thanks again for that, it was phenomenal!

During 2017 he met a lot of lovely people to exchange knowledge and learn a lot of new stuff about djing. He also started to play Psytrance.

One of the most beautiful things in the end of 2017, for him, was his entry to the Retromaniac Records Family.

This opened up many new possibilities and influences for his project. Also wonderful friendships have developed and he’s very motivated to rock with the team.

2018 was for him definitivly the best year so far. He was able to play in public more then during all the years before combined. Special thanks go out to Stadtchäller Winterthur for so many great partys and playtimes.

Its 2022 now and he’s excited to see what this year will bring. He will start to produce his own sound. New year, new challanges. Stay Tuned.
